Drain leakage leads to economic loss in the form of damage to the pipe network itself, e.g., erosion of pipe bedding and pipe breaks, and to the foundations of buildings.
A drain camera is necessary because simply clearing the blocked sewer or stormwater line does not reveal what caused it to block in the first place.
Without a drain camera inspection it would not be possible to know what caused the blocked sewer or stormwater line, and without this knowledge it can be difficult for a plumber to address the real cause of a blockage.
The only way to be certain a blockage exists in a drain or pipe is with the use of a drain camera.
Sewer Rooter
Drains are a vital organ to a plumbing system. Without proper drainage your home or business could be in serious danger.
The sewer rooter stops backflows and blockages from sewer and stormwater pipes.
Mini Water Jetter
The Mini Water Jetter is a high pressure machine used in commercial and industrial applications. Its hose blasts through sludge, soap, grease and sediment blockages.
The mini water jetter also cleans and flushes debris away while it retracts restoring the drain to its free-flowing capacity.
Combo Unit
When a mini water jetter doesn't have enough power for the big jobs we use a 'Combo Unit' for tough industrial or commercial drain and sewer pipe cleaning.
A high pressure water jetter mounted on the back of the truck is used for removing materials such as tree roots, grease, fats, industrial wastes, sediments, filtrates, incrustations, organic foulings, oxide layers, coating systems, sludges, cement slurry, debris, silt, scale and incrustations from a variety of drains and sewer systems.

Equipment
We use a range of drain cleaning equipment when looking for blockages and clearing drains.
The main types of equipment we use are drain cameras (see image). The drain camera determines the cause and the exact location of the blockage, a portable high pressure water jetter and a heavy duty high pressure watter jetter mounted on a combo unit (truck shown above) for difficult blockages.
We also use an electric sewer machine to clear away debris and blockages from sewer and stormwater pipes.

We are a Victorian family business who specialise in sewer and stormwater blockages and dig out and repairs to sewer and storm water drains.
A CCTV camera is used for inspection of pipes and drains. Our preferred method of removing blockages is with an electric K – 1500 Ridgid sewer machine. The machine effectively clears sewer and stormwater pipes of offending debris. We also use a high pressure water jetter machine for more difficult blockages where an electric sewer machine (electric eel) is unable to clean.

Digouts & Repairs
Dig outs refers to the replacement of sewer or stormwater pipes that are either broken or blocked, usually caused by tree roots, ground movement or ageing of the pipes.
The site is analysed with state of the art detection equipment to determine damage to the offending pipe.
A dig out is required when the use of the sewer machine or the high pressure water jet cannot penetrate the pipe to clear the blockage.
Why digout?
Repairs to sewer and stormwater pipes are required when we are unable to clear a blockage or objects, such as tree roots in pipes.
We hand dig the area with minimal impact to surrounding pathways, flooring and the ground area. If necessary to we use a backhoe, depending on the depth, access and location to the pipes.
We carry out all repairs with unplasticised polyvinylchloride (UPVC) piping for extra strength and longevity.
