How do you know you have a leaking pipe?

• water is dripping or spurting around the tap after it has been turned off
• your water bill is costing you much more than the previous one
• damp, wet and/or corrosive areas appear
• there is rotted wood or broken concrete around the area

Leaks occur for some of the following reasons

• faulty or aged pipes
• corrosion in the pipe
• faulty installation
• excessive water pressure
• ground movement
